Sparkling Zebras.
Zebras, not unicorns. Sparkling Zebras was an idea2.life incubator concept for carrying a vision from the steward who received it to the people who would build it — through a 4-phase in-person gathering. Today it is an empty archive with an honest question attached: fold, or let go.
Sparkling Zebras — idea2.life incubator phase (archived) · not an active venture seeking backing
An in-person incubator concept, archived, never run.
Sparkling Zebras was conceived as an idea2.life incubator phase: a 4-phase in-person gathering (Gathering → Alignment → Spark → Commitment) carrying a vision from a steward to the people who would build it, plus a fractal seed investment fund connected to SoFin.
Tagged #my-legacy in the source material — a personal-commitment signal this page does not override.
Two holons, one financial mechanism.
Sparkling Zebras' page describes housing "a fractal seed investment fund — a financial vehicle connected to SoFin." EvoBioSys Capital's own page independently lists a Fractal Seed Investment Fund as one of its three composable mechanisms — the same shape, at every scale, from micro-grants to major capital. Two holons claiming ownership of the identical financial mechanism is a duplication signal, not a division of labor.
The wondermachine's own incubation spine (steward/co-creator matching, then a 3-month funded trial via SoUBR) already generalizes "vision → committed builders → funded venture" without a separately named vehicle. Sparkling Zebras was absorbed there as a label, not re-specified as a distinct mechanism.
The retreat format is worth keeping. The holon isn't.
Strip away the duplicate fund claim and one genuinely distinct thing remains: the in-person gathering structure itself — "alm gathering meets startup weekend, without the performative urgency."
Gathering
Stewards, builders and supporters arrive; the vision is shared as an invitation, not a pitch.
Alignment
Roles emerge, resources are mapped, honest conversations about capacity and commitment happen.
Spark
The first real steps of work begin — enough to prove direction and build momentum.
A fourth phase, Commitment, closes the gathering with clear who-does-what agreements. The recommendation below treats this format as a reusable pattern for idea2.life's own pipeline, not as a reason to keep a separate holon alive.
Idea, draft, archived. Never built, never live.
Already real
- Complete page copy and phase structure — a coherent, well-written concept.
- Confirmed-empty archive — nothing salvageable beyond the page copy itself.
Never happened
- No incubator experience run — idea and draft stage only, never build, never live.
- No independent fund — the fractal seed fund is EvoBioSys Capital's mechanism, described a second time here.
- No staffing — the concept was never resourced beyond the page.
Fold into idea2.life. Don't revive as a standalone holon.
Given the empty archive, the duplicated fund claim, and idea2.life's own incubation spine already covering the same journey — the recommended path is folding the retreat format into idea2.life as an optional in-person mode of its "Teaming Up" and "Incubate/Incorporate" phases, not reviving Sparkling Zebras as an independent venture seeking backing.
This page asks for a decision, not funding.
The open question is not "how do we capitalize this" — it's whether the #my-legacy tag means Sparkling Zebras should stand apart from the fold-in recommendation above. That call belongs to Jakob.
